Job Purpose / Summary
The Head of MEP is responsible for leading all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) engineering functions within the organization. This role ensures high-quality technical delivery, fosters innovation, and aligns MEP strategies with project, sustainability, and overall business objectives. The position provides strategic leadership, enforces strong project management discipline, and drives operational excellence across all MEP projects.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Strong working knowledge of Electrical, ELV, and Plumbing systems.
Minimum 10+ years of experience in MEP design and project leadership roles.
Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Familiarity with LEED, EDGE, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 frameworks.
Chartered Engineer or Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and related design software.
Technical Competencies
Knowledge of local and international standards (ASHRAE, IEC, IEEE, NFPA, SLS, ISO).
Ability to review technical specifications, BOQs, and shop drawings.
Understanding of green building rating systems (LEED, EDGE, WELL).
Experience in energy simulations and load calculations.
Expertise in HVAC system design, electrical distribution systems, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection.
Strong coordination skills across structural and architectural disciplines.
Experience across commercial, industrial, and institutional building projects.
