Vehicle Fleet Manager

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS.
– Manage and oversee the company’s entire vehicle fleet operations.
– Plan, schedule, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance for all vehicles.
– Ensure all vehicles comply with safety, legal, and regulatory requirements.
– Monitor fuel consumption, fleet utilization, and overall operational efficiency.
– Control fleet-related costs, including repairs, insurance, leasing, and fuel.
– Coordinate with workshops, suppliers, and service providers for maintenance and repairs.
– Maintain accurate fleet records, documentation, and reporting systems.
– Implement fleet management systems and drive process improvements.
– Handle accident management, insurance claims, and incident investigations.
– Lead, supervise, and develop drivers and fleet support staff.
APPLICANT’S PROFILE
– Bachetor’s Degree or Diploma in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
– Minimum 5-7 years of experience in fleet management, preferably within the automobile industry.
– Strong technical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and automotive systems.
– Good understanding of fleet tracking systems and cost-control measures.
– Excetlent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
– Proficiency in MS Office and fleet management software.
– Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
