General Manager -Travel (Female)

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
– Provide strategic leadership and overall operational direction for all business units, ensuring
high service standards across inbound, outbound, seafarer travel, ticketing, and event
management services.
– Drive business growth, expand new markets, and strengthen partnerships with global airlines,
hotels, and travel brands.
– Oversee day-to-day operations, including process improvements; service quality, cost control,
and organizational efficiency.
– Lead, mentor, and develop the travel operations teams to ensure performance excellence and
a customer-first culture.
– Work closely with the Board and MD to set and execute long-term business strategies and
financial goals.
– Ensure compliance with IATA, SLAITO, and other regulatory standards while maintaining
strong governance and risk management practices.
– Develop and implement digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness
and customer experience.
– Represent the company in industry associations, partnerships, and key stakeholder meetings
locally and internationally.
QUALIFICATIONS
– Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Tourism Management, or a related field; MBA
preferred.
– Minimum 10-15 years of senior management experience in the travel, tourism, hospitality, or
aviation industry.
– Proven track record in leading and scaling operations within a travel agency or related service
sector.
– Strong understanding of IATA regulations, airline ticketing, inbound/outbound travel
operations, and industry best practices.
– Excellent leadership, communication, strategic planning, and stakeholder management skills.
– Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, digital transformation, and operational excellence.
– High tevel of business acumen with experience in financial planning, budgeting, and P&L
management.
-Strong relationship-building skills with global travel partners, airlines, and hotel brands.
SALARY DETAILS: Rs. 400K – Rs. 525K (Gross)
