We are seeking a dynamic Technical Quality Assurance with experience in Manufacturing for our client company.
Location – Meegoda
The Technical QA ensures consistent product quality and fit throughout all stages of garment development and production. This role upholds technical specifications, buyer requirements, and compliance standards for womenswear while driving production efficiency and minimising rework. Acting as the link between design, production, supply chain, and sales, the Technical QA ensures each product meets the right standards of fit, quality, cost, and delivery. The position champions best-in-class quality processes that enhance efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction driving right first-time metrics.

Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Apparel Technology, Textile Engineering, or Garment Production.
Qualifications in pattern making.
3 years and above of experience in garment quality assurance, preferably in womenswear development.
Strong knowledge of 3d fitting technologies, block and stye patterns, pattern construction, sewing techniques, garment construction, measurements, and finishing.
Experience with AQL systems, buyer standards, and quality inspection tools.
Exposure to sustainable production and compliance systems (WRAP, Sedex, BSCI) preferred.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational abilities.
Leadership style that encourages collaboration and accountability
Deep knowledge of fabric, trims, and garment construction, SMV’s and rating for costings are essential
Excellent attention to detail and technical accuracy.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in MS Excel, ERP, or QA tracking software.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.
