We are looking for a highly driven and analytical professional to join our client organization as Assistant Manager – Procurement Intelligence & Operations.The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing end-to-end procurement operations while leveraging market intelligence, pricing insights, and data analytics to support strategic buying decisions. This role combines operational leadership, team supervision, and real-time market analysis to ensure efficient multi-shift workflows, cost optimization, and seamless coordination between stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end procurement operations and workflow efficiency
Drive market intelligence initiatives and optimize pricing strategies
Lead and supervise teams across multiple shifts and functions
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, managing escalations effectively
Enhance operational performance through process improvement, governance, and data-driven decision-making
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field
MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage
Professional certifications in Data Analytics, Lean Management, or Six Sigma will be considered an asset
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain operations
Proven experience in end-to-end procurement within a fast-paced environment
Strong background in market analysis, price tracking, and data-driven purchasing decisions
Experience in team leadership, performance management, and cross-functional coordination
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exposure to procurement systems and ERP platforms
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SQL, and Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, Planner, Outlook, etc.)
