Job Summary
The Barman is responsible for preparing and serving beverages to customers while ensuring excellent customer service. The role includes maintaining the bar area, managing drink orders, and ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
Take customer orders and recommend drinks based on customer preferences.
Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
Check identification to verify the legal drinking age of customers.
Handle cash and process payments accurately.
Maintain inventory of bar supplies and inform management when stock is low.
Follow hygiene, safety, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner to enhance customer experience.
Assist in setting up and closing the bar at the beginning and end of shifts.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Barman/Bartender or in a similar role is preferred.
Knowledge of mixing cocktails and beverage preparation.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic math skills for handling payments.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
