Junior Accounts Executive

We are on the look-out for a competent Junior Accounts Executive for our client which is a leading company that is based in Colombo 03
Job Responsibilities:
Handle and monitor cash and banking procedures
Monitoring and management of AR and AP functions
Handling and monitoring Petty cash transactions
Monitor routine operations of the company
Prepare Examine and analyses Accounting and financial statements
Check the accuracy, completeness and timelines of the deliverables
Ensure all statutory payments including VAT, NBT, WHT, PAYE, EPF, ETF completed and submitted on time (Experience in IRD RAMIS System)
Requirements:
Male candidates with age below 30 Years
Degree in Accounting/Finance/Management or final qualification in CA/CIMA/ACCA
Minimum Two years and above experience in a similar role
Working experience in hotel industry is required
Previous Audit experience in similar capacity would be added advantage.
Hands on experience with QB/ERP accounting package
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Having a very good knowledge of MS office applications
Should be able to work under minimum supervision
Team player with a pleasing personality
Preferably candidates reside in Colombo or near area for easy commute
Salary is negotiable and will commensurate with qualifications and experience to the right candidate.
