We are on the lookout for an Executive – Freight & Logistics for our client company
Responsibilities
Handle outbound logistical operations, comply with rules/ regulations and prepare all the relevant documents promptly to ensure the smooth delivery of goods to the customer.
Coordinate with internal departments for efficient and timely delivery of the product samples to the customer.
Coordinate with all logistics service providers to receive all freight invoices on time and to ensure payment is processed in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate and timely records of all shipment details and relevant payments, for the provision of monthly reports to the Management.
Maintain timely records related to shipment deliveries by tracking and monitoring the movement of the freight online.
Investigate issues and effectively use problem-solving tools and techniques to eliminate the root cause the identified problem, to thereby meet organizational requirements in a cost-effective manner
Requirements:
Minimum 02 years and above working experience as an Executive – Freight & Logistics is a must.
Experience in the manufacturing sector (This will be a distinct advantage)
B.Sc. In Logistics & Transport Management/Supply Chain Management from a recognized university.
Strong inter-personal and communication skills
