We are on the lookout for a Supply Chain Executive for our well reputed client company. Location – Colombo 03
Job Role:
Overseeing all purchasing activities of all the company and managing the activities to expedite the process to ensure smooth supply chain operation. Ensuring the sticking and restocking activities are in accordance with agreed policies and programs, meet the company’s needs and the cost of holding them.
Negotiate with foreign suppliers and manage local logistical procedures.
Managing the overall service degree and stock turnover.
Special order negotiations
Knowledge about assigned export/import related processes
Initiating approvals for actions on products. E.g. (Inventory, Nonmoving, Stock turn, Expiry)
Requirements
Experience to imports and SAP knowledge is a definite requirement
Minimum 02 Year experience in Supply Chain Management with experience in Importing is a must with experience in Construction , Metal, Maintenance / Automation would prefer
University Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management / Logistics preferred, final year undergraduates also can apply
Age between 25 to 35 years only
Excellent communication skills in English is required
Experience of working with customs
Ability to work under high pressure and meeting deadlines
Resident in or near Colombo is encourage to apply
