Duties & Responsibilities
– Preparation and presentation of financial statements and related reports to the management
– Timely payment of taxes and submission of returns with deadlines
– Liaise with external auditors, Banks, suppliers and other relevant parties
– Help monitor and control expenses by reviewing employee expense reports, verifying receipts and ensuring compliance with company financial policies and procedures
– Ability to correspond independently and handle all accounting functions
– Identify and implement necessary controlling mechanisms to streamline the related activities of the company finance operation
Experience & Qualifications
– Degree in a related field
– Qualified / Part qualified in CIMA / ACCA / CA Sri Lanka
– Minimum 5 years’ experience in the similar capacity (Where full annual financial reporting process is covered)
– Hands on experience in QB & other computer applications
– Previous experience in construction sector or power sector would be an added advantage
– Should be a team player with good interpersonal skills
– Ability to work under minimum supervision
– Salary 200K-300K (Negotiable)
