Procurement Executive

We are on the lookout for a Procurement Executive for our client company.Working Location – Badalgama
Responsibilities:
Responsible for finding vendors, sourcing, negotiating, & Spare parts, engineering, & production consumables from overseas and local vendors.
Evaluate vendor’s quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the purchase.
Monitoring the import processes to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements such as BOI, SLSI & TRC
Responsible for arranging and coordinating letters of credit (LC), Telegraphic Transfers (TT).
Arranging reports and presentations for the Material Management meetings and other procurement-related meetings.
Coordinate with the Engineering Team and the supplier to arrange the technical reviews and malfunction-related discussions.
Requirements:
Degree or higher qualification in supply chain management/procurement
Minimum 2 years and above experience in the similar capacity to handle the importation of machinery, spare parts and factory consumables.
Result-oriented self-motivated team player.
Strong negotiation skills, good business acumen, excellent problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills in English
Working experience in ERP systems
