Executive – IT

We are on the lookout for a Executive – IT for our client company located in Colombo 04.
Job Responsibilities
IT Support & Maintenance –
– Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
– Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other IT assets
– Manage user accounts, access controls, and IT security protocols
– Ensure IT systems operate smoothly with minimal downtime
ERP & Software Assistance –
– Support ERP system users with troubleshooting, and basic configurations
– Coordinate with the IT Manager to ensure proper software integration across departments
– Assist in training employees on IT systems and software applications
Network & Cyber security Support –
– Monitor and maintain the company’s PABX, network and internet connectivity
– Implement basic cyber security measures, including antivirus updates and firewall monitoring
– Ensure regular data backups and support disaster recovery processes
IT Asset Management –
– Maintain an inventory of IT hardware and software licenses
– Coordinate IT equipment procurement, setup, and disposal
– Ensure timely updates and patches for all systems
Requirements
• Male candidates with age below 30 years
• Higher Diploma in IT, Computer Science or related field
• Minimum 03 years and above experience in IT support or related roles
• Experience in an automotives business would be an additional advantage.
• Excellent in English is a must with Sinhala is essential (Tamil being an added advantage)
• Familiarity with CCTV, PABX and networking
• Experience with ERP (SAP B1, IFS, or similar)
• Understanding of cyber security fundamentals
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Preferably candidates reside in Colombo or near area for easy commute
Salary is negotiable and will commensurate with qualifications and experience to the right candidate.
