DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
– Build and manage strong client relationships across government and private sector entities to expand UAV business opportunities.
– Actively engage in pre-sales activities including client meetings, requirement gathering, proposal preparation, and solution pitching.
– Coordinate with UAV Operations, GIS Analysts, and Technical Teams to ensure seamless delivery of
projects and continuous client satisfaction.
– Identify new market segments, generate leads, and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities
through proactive business development.
– Maintain accurate sales forecasts, client documentation, and opportunity tracking through CRM and internal reporting.
– Represent Sumathi IT at industry events, demos, and presentations to promote UAV solutions and
brand visibility.
– Ensure timely collection of payments while nurturing long-term strategic partnerships.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS
– A Degree or Diploma in Business Management, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline.
– Minimum 5 years’ experience in Account Management / Business Development (experience in UAV,
Geospatial, or Technical Solution Sales will be a strong advantage).
– Ability to understand technical concepts and convert them into practical customer value propositions.
– Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
– Strong coordination and multi-tasking ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical teams.
– Aproactive, result-oriented personality with a passion for emerging technology solutions.
– 6Avatid driving license would be an added advantage.
