We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Chief Accountant for our client company.The ideal candidate will bring strong financial expertise, hands-on experience in the hospitality industry
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and accounting standards
Manage payroll, audits, and internal controls
Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management
Supervise and guide the accounting team
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (professional qualification such as ACCA/CIMA preferred)
Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is a must.
Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks (QB) accounting software
Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Working Location – NegomboSalary – LKR 250,000/- (gross)
