Junior Executive Finance Audtor

You should ideally;
• possess a Degree in Accountancy/Finance and / or following the final stage of a professional qualification acceptable to the Bank (Preferably from CA Sri Lanka, ACCA or LIMA)
• possess at least 6-8 years of experience in external auditing/intemal auditing/finance or taxation (exposure in a Bank/Finance Institution will be an added advantage)
• possess good communication and report writing skills
• be able to identify control deficiencies/irregularities, analyze the risk implications & provide recommendations to mitigate risks
• be able to conduct and finalize audits independently
• have sound knowledge on SLFRS/IFRS, banking regulations, risk management and controls
• be flexible, proactive, and be able to deliver the expected outputs under tight deadlines
You will be responsible for
• conducting audits on quarterly/annual financials of the Bank and the subsidiaries to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements before publication
• performing risk based audits and be conversant with the operational & regulatory risks prevailing in the banking industry
• conducting risk & control assessments as part of audit assignments to add value to the financial reporting and MIS process of the Bank
• undertaking special audit assignments and reviews as part of the Group Internal Audit consultancy services to add value to the banking operations
