Group Tax Manager

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
– Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
– Professional qualification (mandatory): CA Sri Lanka / ACCA / CIMA (fully qualified).
– Membership in the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Sri Lanka (CITSL) is strongly
preferred.
– Additional tax-related certifications (Postgraduate Diploma in Taxation, Advanced Certificate in Taxation) are an advantage.
– Legal background (LLB or tax taw exposure) is an added advantage.
– 5-10 years of solid experience in taxation.
– Minimum 3 years in a managerial or senior-level tax role.
– Experience in a diversified group or top-tier audit firm is preferred.
– Strong exposure to corporate tax, VAT, WHT, and statutory taxes.
– Prior experience handling IRD audits, appeals, and large-scale compliance processes.
