Factory Manager

Requirements:
– A degree in Applied Science / Food Science, Industry Management or equivalent qualification
– Proven experience of not less than 5 years in a similar job role, in a coconut processing factory, preferably having worked in an aseptic coconut processing line
– Have a broad knowledge and experience in quality management systems (ISO 9001), food safety management system (BRC FSSC 22000,ISO 22000 etc), Social accountability standard (SA 8000), Environmental standard (ISO 14001), and Organic certifications (EU/JAS/NOP/Fair trade/ Bio Suisse) and should be able to lead its audit
– Excellent Communication Skills with proven leadership qualities
– Ability to work flexible hours
Job Role:
– Plan overall activities of the factory operation including:
– Scheduling production activities
– Coordinate with other departments to achieve predetermined objectives
– Collaborating with the QC team to execute QC process
– Schedule activities of plant, machinery & human resources
– Developing and implementing strategies to streamline factory operations
– Effective management of factory employees
– Conduct and follow new product developments and research and development activities
– Outstanding problem solving skills and resolve any issues that may derail production
– Comply with Health and Safety regulations to prevent accidents and injuries
– Responsible for maintaining and fulfilling the statutory and regulatory standards
– Motivating workers to customarily achieve factory targets
– Identify training needs of employees and arrange the necessary training
