Accounts Assistant

Responsibilities:
• Preparing financial information such as invoices, bills, and accounts payables and receivables.
• Assist to complete financial reports on regular basis and providing information to the finance team.
• Preparing cash flows weekly & monthly and monthly budget and yearly budgets.
• Complete bank reconciliation.
• Assist the closure of accounts, financial accounting and consolidation and reporting requirement.
• Manage day-to-day transactions including receipts & payments
• Handling & maintenance of Petty Cash Payment.
• Handling & Posting Accounting Entries.
• Check the accuracy and compute customer/suppliers account balances.
Qualifications:
• Successfully completion of G.C.E (A/1.) with AAT full qualifications or degree in Accounting/ Business/ Commerce and part qualified in CA/CIMA or similar qualifications.
• Solid foundation in finance with 1+ experience in finance functions.
• Communication skills in Sinhala & English (Written & Verbal)
• Proficient in relevant computer applications Microsoft Office Packages & experience in ERP would be an added advantage.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet financial deadlines.
