We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Mechanical Engineer for our client company.Key Responsibilities
Design HVAC, plumbing and other mechanical building services.
Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, specifications and BOQs.
Coordinate designs with architects, structural, electrical and plumbing engineers.
Review shop drawings, technical submissions and contractor proposals.
Support project implementation to ensure quality, cost and programme objectives are achieved.
Identify practical, energy-efficient and cost-effective engineering solutions.
Work closely with clients, contractors, suppliers and project stakeholders.
Keep abreast of emerging technologies, standards and sustainable practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
Minimum 4–5 years’ experience in MEP design and/or building services engineering.
Experience in commercial buildings, hotels, industrial facilities or similar projects.
Good understanding of HVAC, plumbing and mechanical building services.
Proficiency in AutoCAD. Experience in Revit MEP and engineering design software will be an added advantage.
Good knowledge of Sri Lankan and international engineering standards.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
