We are seeking a dynamic, responsible, and experienced Human Resources & Compliance Officer for our client company.Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day HR operations and employee relations.
Maintain employee records, attendance, leave, payroll-related information, and HR documentation.
Handle recruitment, onboarding, disciplinary matters, and employee welfare activities.
Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
Coordinate and prepare for customer, social, labour, health & safety, and compliance audits.
Maintain compliance documentation, corrective action plans, and audit follow-ups.
Conduct regular workplace compliance inspections and identify areas for improvement.
Coordinate employee training, awareness programs, and welfare activities.
Promote a positive workplace culture and good employee relations.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years and above experience, preferably in the apparel, garment, textile, manufacturing, or related industry.
Diploma/Degree in Human Resources Management
Experience in handling customer/social compliance audits will be a strong advantage.
Good understanding of workplace Health & Safety and employee welfare requirements.
Strong documentation, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and handle confidential information professionally.
Good command of English and Sinhala. Tamil will be an added advantage
