Responsibilities
– To ensure that the financial statements are prepared in conformity with the indonesian and international accounting standards as required and according to the requirements set by the other statutory bodies. This includes review of the estate/milt levet financial statements ensure their accuracy and preparation of consolidated financial statements.
– Ensure the development and setting in place of effective management accounting function within organization, in order to provide leadership to the organizational improvement initiatives. Identify and assess the relevant techniques to be adopted, and supervise and guide the management accounting towards implementation.
– To initiate, review, assess, and implement programs to continuously improve the productivity of all processes and systems within the organization and to advise and guide the operational managers in carrying out work flow analysis and other techniques for system improvement and cost management.
– To actively participate in the preparation of the annual budget, comparison of actual performance against the budget, identifying and analyzing variance and devise and monitor the implementation of necessary actions to manage /improve variances.
– Liaising with Internal and External Auditors in order to ensure that audits & audit observations are closed on time
– To liaise with the tax consultants, timely submission of tax returns and settlement of tax liabilities while ensuring complete compliance to the prevailing tax law.
Requirements
– A minimum of 8-10 years of post-qualifying work experience in a large manufacturing organization/ diversified conglomerate.
– Holding professional finance qualification such as CA Sri Lanka.
