Assistant Accountant

Job Responsibilities:
– Maintain accurate accounting records.
– Handle payroll and manage EPF & ETF-related activities.
– Review quotations and finalize invoicing processes.
– Oversee warehouse operations to ensure financial alignment.
– Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable functions efficiently.
– Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to align financial activities with
operational goals.
– Establish and enforce internal controls for the company.
– Prepare monthly management accounts, annual accounts, and ad hoc reports as per statutory and management requirements.
Knowledge and Skills:
– Relevant degree in Finance or part qualification in CA, ACCA, or CIMA preferred.
– Minimum 1-5 years’ experience in the commercial sector and an audit firm.
– Hands-on experience with QB package.
– Proficiency in advanced Excel and other Office productivity tools.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Project management and strong planning skills.
Location : Kotikawatta
Salary : LKR 130K (Net)
(Negotiable based on experience)
