Assistant Accountant

We are looking for a dynamic & high performing individual to join our company to work as an Assistant Accountant. You will be working in a team alongside a Team Leader & an Accountant on a portfolio of entities.
We would love to hear from you if you have the following.
– An accounting qualification – AAT, HNDA, Diploma of Accounting, CIMA, ACCA or a degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized university
– Avery good command of English – should be able to communicate fluently in English
– A minimum of 2 years work experience in a similar role
– Available to work on weekdays (no weekend work) & according to the Australian calendar
– Available to work from home 4am – 12pm Sri Lankan time
– Access to a computer with Windows 11 or above with all latest updates installed, anti-virus software, 2nd monitor (you will be working with a dual monitor set-up, this can be a 2nd monitor connected to a laptop through a HDMI port)
– A reliable high speed internet connection (approx. speed 100mbps)
– A mobile phone (for multi factor authentication when you log in)
– Age: Below 45 years
This is an ongoing position.
Salary: Rs. 75,000(all inclusive) a month + Rs. 2,500 allowance towards internet 3 using your own computer + Rs. 10,000 additional allowance.
Nature of work will be managing a very busy shared email inbox, responding to finance related queries received from customers by email, issuing invoices, updating system with approved levies for each entity, seeking approval from managers, creating contacts & various other tasks.
Full training will be provided.
