Accountant – Head of Department

Duties and Responsibilities,
He/she will be responsible for,
• Providing leadership to the back of the house team of the Villa
• Co-ordinating with outsources financial accountants in preparation of financial reports
• To compile necessary management reports periodically in support of Business objectives
• Continuous monitoring of internal controls for compliance with laid down procedures
• Reporting on Risk Management requirements of the property
• Preparation of all balance sheet schedules and reconciliations
• Managing all costings , inventory and payments and asset register of the Villa
• Ensunng statutory compliance related to the finance department
• Assistance in preparation of the annual budget of the hotel.
Candidate Profile
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the finance field and a minimum of two years’ experience in preparation of finance and management accounts in a villa/star class hotel
• Part qualification in ICASL/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent professional qualification
• Excellent communication skills and good interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of Quick Books will be an advantage
