We are on the lookout for an Assistant Accountant for our client company. Locations – Colombo 04 / Negombo
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise Debtors activities / team
Implement and improve Debtors control procedures
Moniter and supervise all cash sales collection
Perform Stock Verification at Stores and Farm
Implement and improve Stock control procedures
Prepare Inventory Reports
Prepare output VAT, SVAT reconciliation
Prepare monthly Management information reports
Develop and produce other MI /sales information reports
Verification of supplier Payment Vouchers
Verify Bank reconciliations
Oversee company insurance policies
Review, improve and develop primary documentation at all locations for proper data capturing
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
Age below 40 years only
Minimum 08 years’ experience in computerized environment in ERP system is a must
Experience in FMCG / Manufacturing industry is a must
Part qualified Associate Management Accountant or Chartered Accountant of recognized Professional Accounting Body
Should possess leadership quality with a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and is result driven to function as in charge of Accounts Department.
Computer literacy with good command in excel
