Housing Authority is a widely recognised housing. land development and mortgage financing organisation in Fiji. With its long establishment, the Authority is committed to implementing forward thinking strategies to ensure that it meets its corporate, commercial and social objectives of providing low cost homes and finance to its customers.
The Authority is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced professional to the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will be responsible for the organisations financial, operational and strategic performance as well as providing leadership and direction to the management team, You will also be accountable for developing new business opportunities and sustaining valuable relationships with various private and
public sector stake holders to ensure the organisations continuous expansion and growth.
Key responsibilities will include:
– Ensuring long term profitability and continuity of the business as a financing and housing institution
– Leading the on-going development of the organisation’s strategic plan
– Managing relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders to ensure that the organisation is promoted and positioned effectively
– Providing strategic advice and recommendations to the Board of Directors
– Ensuring financial and annual reports for the Board are done in a timely manner
– Leading and developing a team of management staff.
A Degree in Finance or Civil Engineering or Architecture or equivalent from a recognised institution is essential with a minimum of six to ten years experience in a senior management role. A post graduate qualification and demonstrated experience in managing large housing projects would be an advantage.
You should have excellent leadership and interpersonal skills and be predisposed to relationship building. The ability to drive and achieve excellent business performance in a highly competitive environment with strong business acumen are considered key attributes for the position You should also possess sound financial and people management skills.
