We are on the lookout for a Head of Operations for our client company, which is an Inbound Tourism / Destination Management Company.Salary – Up to LKR 200,000 per month (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
Oversee end-to-end tour operations (inquiry handover → confirmation → arrival → tour execution → closure).
Lead and supervise the operations team, ensuring timelines, SOPs, and service standards are followed.
Ensure smooth guest handling, on-tour coordination, and issue resolution.
Act as the main escalation point for operational challenges and guest concerns.
Coordinate with hotels, transport providers, guides, and suppliers.
Maintain cost control and operational accuracy in line with approved budgets.
Work closely with sales and finance teams for smooth handovers and reconciliations.
Required skills and Qualifications
Minimum 5 years and above experience in Operations in Senior Managerial capacity with in inbound tour operations / DMC environment is a must.
Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of Sri Lanka tourism logistics.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Should reside within Pannipitiya area or near.
