Accounts Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
– Handling the fixed asset register of the company and preparation of FA notes for the accounts.
– Ensure all fixed assets are insured and arrange insurance payments.
– Preparation of import costing and reconciliation of landed cost account.
– Preparation of supplier payments through ERP system,
– Preparation of monthly debtor, bank reconciliations and passing related journal entries.
– Handle VATMWHTISSCL/Stamp duty and related taxes including payment of taxes.
– Update sundry receipts/AP invoices to the ERP system.
– Undertake analysis and ad hoc reports for the use of the management.
– Any other duty assigned by the management.
Job Requirement:
– Candidate should be partly qualified in CA/CIMA/CMA/AAT with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the manufacturing OR Construction sector.
– Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
– Proficient in IT, particularly experience with the SAP ERP system would be a definite advantage.
– Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
– Age below 28 years.
