Assistant Quality Assurance Manager

Key Responsibilities:
– Ensure incoming materials and other ingredients meet company standards.
– Ensure production processes are carried out as per Company’ QMS, SOP and non-occurrence of process deviations by implementing robust process control management.
– Detailed route cause analysis for instances of quality deviations of incoming, in-process and semi-finished goods.
– Ensure product traceability at all levels of production processes.
– Implement systems and practices to ensure maintenance of quality and hygienic standards of raw material provided by the suppliers.
– Conduct supplier audits, recommend improvements and create awareness.
– Maintenance of Quality Standard Certifications obtained by the Plant.
– Enhance awareness of QMS within all employees of the plant.
Educational & Qualification Requirements
– Adegree in the field of Food Science/ Microbiology/ Chemistry.
– Minimum of 7-8 years’ experience in Quality Management out of which 2+ years in a Senior Executive/ Assistant managerial role in food manufacturing/ fish canning environment.
– Thorough knowledge of quality and food safety management systems such as ISO 22000, OSHAS 18000 and ISO 14000.
– Self-motivated team player and strong leader with “Hands On” approach.
– Salary 180K-200K
