Senior Software Engineers
Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA) the apex ICT organization of the government is currently driving cutting edge solutions into the government sector. ICTA has been mandated to implement solutions that will enable the government of Sri Lanka to achieve its aim of providing all of its services through ICT to citizens.
ICTA offers an excellent opportunity for IT professionals to participate in the implementation and consultation for its high profile National Development initiatives. The selected applicants will have the opportunity to get involved in cutting edge initiatives and existing enterprise level applications in implementation and consultative capacity
Applicants should possess;
• An Information Technology related degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 03 years of software development experience mainly in Java and PBP platforms
• Minimum of 01 year of proven experience in the same capacity in leading a team of Software Engineers in an on-shore/off-shore model
• Sound knowledge in Object Oriented Design Methodologies, Design Patterns, Web Application Development, Mobile Application Development, Databases
• Experience in SOA based projects and related technologies
• Experience in build systems and release cycles (Ant/Maven/CruiseControl)
• Experience in software configuration systems (SVN/GU)
• Excellent communication skills
Other preferred qualifications/experiences:
• Experience in NoSQL databases, Big Data
• Working experience in Cloud environments
