Senior Software Developer / Team Leader

About Us:
iWorks Digital is a UK based software development company specialised in web application development and mobile app development using the right mix of the latest technologies to deliver innovative solutions for our clients. Our Sri Lanka office is in Colombo.
We work extremely closely with our partners and clients and travel within the first year would be required to the UK and/or the US. Career development is important at iWorks Digital with temporary and permanent positions available with our main UK partner at their offices outside London.
About the Job:
This role would be ideal for a candidate with at least 5+ years technology specific experience, with an excellent understanding of C#, ASP.NET, Angular JS, jQuery, MS SQL Web API, MVC, Agile Methodologies, XML, Web services. The right candidates will have strong experience of developing web based applications and problem solving. The successful candidates must be proactive, able to meet tight deadlines and have a high level of self-motivation with team leading skills. Due to the nature of the role, the chosen candidate must be able to exhibit previous back end development skills.
Our UK & US based partners and clients work to an extremely high standard. We are looking for exception candidates with proven problem solving and analytic skills. This is not a coding only position, this position requires the ability to identify, solve problems, lead projects and manage a team. We offer flexible working hours and the ability to work from home.
Salary flexible depending on experience
What We Need:
A degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent 5+ years commercial experience in C# A drive to succeed and develop your career
Key Skills:
C#, ASP.NET, Angular JS, jQuery, MS SQL, Web API, Agile Methodologies, XML, Web services and Crystal reports or similar reporting frameworks.
The following are desirable:
PHP development knowledge, PHP frameworks (Laravel/Symfony/Zend) and SOAP.
