GEL Construction (Pvt) Ltd is one of leading Blasting and Quarry Management Company. We invite applications for a dynamic team player for the post of Quarry Manager. We are looking for candidates to join our Quarry Site in Vavuniya.
Required Qualifications, Experience and, Skills:
– S years experience as a Quarry Manager in Sri Lanka
– Designing the drilling and blasting pattern by maintaining benches in quarry
– Conducting drilling and blasting operations with minimum disturbance to the environment i.e. follow the terms in licence
– Prepare all the costs related to quarry operations
– Take the responsibility of handling explosives
– Optimizing the machine usage in the site / Ensure effective usage of machines within the site
– Ability to meet company targets regarding the quarry operation
– Leadership skills to manage a multi-talented team
– A Degree, Diploma in mining engineering or equivalent will be an added advantage.
