The responsibilities of Linux System Administrator will include, but not be limited to the following:
– Troubleshooting of the Linux systems
– Directly supporting the company infrastructure and services
– Documenting new systems and procedures
– Support software applications and products
– Change, incident and problem management
– Installing, configuring, maintaining and monitoring Linux servers
The ideal candidates should have:
– Administration experience with RedHat Linux
– Advanced knowledge of Apache, MySQL
– Scripting experience in at least one language: Bash, Shell, Perl
– Experience with monitoring tools – Nagios: Cacti
– DNS. DHCP, FIREWALL. PROXY. SAMBA. LDAP
– ITCP/IP
– Puppet
– SAN and NAS storage
– Industry certifications – RHCSA, RHCE etc.
