Coordinator – CBA Faculty
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) is one of the largest professional organizations in Sri Lanka that supports over 5400 Chartered Accountants and among the foremost tertiary education providers in the country outside the university system with a larger student population of over 44,000. The Institute provides insight and leadership to the accountancy and finance profession in Sri Lanka as well as globally. Currently we are seeking outstanding result oriented and energetic professionals with a high level of responsibility, dedication, competence, confidence, drive and adaptability to take over the position indicated below.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Manage the member database
• Organize programmes approved by the CBA Faculty
• Coordinate with resource persons and participants of events
• Coordinate and monitor event timelines and ensure deadlines are met
• Taking down and preparation of minutes of the CBA-Faculty Meetings
• Liaise with the Marketing team to develop related promotional material of events
• Coordinate event logistics, registration and preparation of programme materials
Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• Full / Part qualification in CIM, SLIM or equivalent
• Three (3) years’ experience in the field of service marketing
• Computer literacy in MS Office package (Word, PowerPoint and Excel mainly) and Internet and Email
• Should be a good communicator, able to express ideas clearly in both oral and written forms in English
• Ability to work under minimum supervision and under pressure
• Be a self-driven, target oriented person with sound PR and interpersonal skills
• Be a good team player
• Age: Preferably below 30 years
The successful candidate will initially be offered an employment contract for 1 year with a competitive remuneration package in par with industry standards together with other fringe benefits.
