Software Engineer – SSRS (Sri Lanka)

You will be part of a growing team of developers based in Colombo and Sydney. We’ll be growing our existing suite of internal and consumer products, as well as working on some major new areas that will significantly expand our business, within Australia and internationally.
Responsibilities:
– Improve existing software.
– Participate in requirements analysis.
– Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture.
– Revise, update, refactor and debug cade.
– Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support.
Competencies:
– Familiarity with ASP.NET framework.
– 3+ Years hands on experience in design and develop reports on Microsoft SSRS including data visualization using Charts / Grids and expression based on formatting’s.
– Knowledge in SOL server technologies & hands on experience in TSQL query writing & performance optimization.
– Experience in the technologies – SSIS / Power BI / Data integration
– Mining / Crystal Reports Xii will be an added advantage.
– Familiar with agile software development methodologies (Ex. SCRUM) as well as plan driven delivery methodologies
– Excellent trouble shooting and communication skills.
– Degree from a recognized university preferably a degree BSc/BA in Computer SCIENCE /Engineering IT/related field.
