An exciting opportunity exists to join the team at Sri Lanka’s leading parenting publication “Amma”. Amma is a monthly Sinhala newspaper distributed throughout Sri Lanka. We are looking for a strong ‘hunter’ sales executive to help us expand the roster of top-tier consumer brands who are advertising across our national publication you will need to have previous advertising sales experience.
Duties and Responsibilities Will Include:
• Generating new clients (direct & agency)
• Maximizing existing client revenue
• Client retention
• Managing the clients account
• Attend appointments and sell directly to the client
• Prospect, research and generate appointments
• Report on weekly and monthly performance as required
• Keep an effective record of contract negotiations
• Update and maintain our sales databases
• Manage a client’s advert design to ensure expectations are met
The Successful Candidate Will:
• At least have two years media sales experience
• A proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets
• A passion for the media industry
• A creative flair
• Communicate and sell with integrity
• Be able to develop a professional presentation
• Computer literate in excel, word, online is a must
• High level of written and verbal skills in Sinhala & English
• An ability to deliver exceptional client campaigns
