We want a brilliant and innovative Information Developer to generate variety of content including online user guides, instructional documents (UI), screen content (UI), demos, eLearning tutorials, help and support migration of documentation from an unstructured to structured(DITA/XML) environment. The ideal candidate should have experience writing and collaborating on content with diverse groups in a fast-paced environment and is extremely comfortable working online.

We are on the lookout for Information Developer

Responsibilities of the position will include

▪ Write and edit accurate, concise, and highly readable page content for new and existing web applications that is not overly technical or obscure.
▪ Generate writing that include but are not limited to Help, FAQs, user guides, release notes, what’s new content, contextual help, instructional documents, interactive tutorials, demos, and other website content.
▪ Generate eLearning Modules and build course curriculum for Products owned.
▪ Evaluate the scope of a writing project and be responsible for managing own priorities, schedule and deadlines.
▪Enforce and follow established style guides to ensure high editorial standards.
• Diplomatically address and resolve differences between stakeholders from cross-functional teams.
• Quick and accurate and should be able to multi-task.

Ideal candidate should possess
• Fresh graduates or 1-3 years’ experience in developing online documentation for web application / developing eLearning content with exposure to DDLC
• Familiar to Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat and Wiki technologies
▪ Experience with Captivate, Camtasia, Ancile uPerform, Adobe Framemaker or similar software
• General Knowledge of DITA Concepts
▪ Hands on experience in XMetal, Oxygen, JIRA, Sharepoint or similar authoring tools
• Strong advocate for the end users web experience Knowledge of web production and project management Experience with developing Release Notes, Web Based Training (WBT) and Computer Based Training (CBT) lesson plans/training
• Familiarity with AP Style Guide, Chicago Manual of Style or Microsoft Manual of Style
• Excellent verbal, writing, editing, analytical, and proof reading skills Ability to work in a team and collaborate with all levels in the organization
• Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and translate them into clear non-technical content.
• Extremely organized and detail-oriented & a self-starter who can work independently
• Can juggle multiple projects and prioritize effectively
