Aero Sense (Pvt.) Ltd is a company established under the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka which is located a few miles away from Colombo city. Aero Sense (Pvt.) Ltd, as a competitive manufacturer of sensors for the prestigious aviation industry, which is functioning under European management, is looking for talented, robust and smart personnel to come on board immediately to join the Aero Sense team as Finance Controller
Qualifications and Experience Required:
– Member of the Charted Accounts body or similar recognized professional institute.
– Professional Accounting and Finance Qualification.
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in manufacturing business environment.
– Ability to build and develop sound business plans to achieve long and short term objectives.
– Excellent command of English, both written and oral.
– Experience in working through ERP system, preferably IFS or Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
Job Description:
– Reporting to General Manager, the primary responsibility of this role will be to manage all aspects of the accounting and finance functions of the company.
– Managing month-end and year-end close process and reporting cycle.
– Preparation of yearly budgets and quarterly re-forecasts for all relevant entities.
– Managing cash flow forecasts and ongoing monitoring of cash position — liaison with Directors and banks to ensure adequate funding.
– Managing relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, tax filing, import/export
– Coordinate and direct the preparation of product costing and pricing decisions.
– Preparation of Statutory financial statements.
– Ongoing review and development of process to improve reporting and cost efficiencies across the organization.
– Have comprehensive knowledge of risk management methodology and the strategic implementation.
– Have good knowledge in multi-currency handling.
