We are leading manufacture and an exporter of agro based food products having a track record over 30 years. Ow production operation which is controlled with several quality certification systems serves to elite clientele in European markets. In order to cater to the enhanced market volume, our Colombo head office needs immediate recruitment of following vacancy.

Accounts Assistant

Experience & Qualifications:

• Between 22-30 years of age.
• Professional full/part qualification in AAT or ICASL – business level will be distinct advantage.
• Having knowledge of accounting application package – tally
• Having commercial experience minimum of 2-3 years manufacturing organization.
• Having good knowledge of MS Office, internet & email.
• Strong team player with the ability work on long hours.

Job Profile:

Responsible for completing payment process by receiving, processing, verifying, invoices and performing day to day management of all payments cycle activities and providing efficient client service in compliance with financial policies and procedures.

• Handling, scheduling, preparing cheque payments.
• Ensuring all payments are with relevant approval, sorting, coding and matching of invoices/receipts.
• Maintaining accounting ledgers by verifying and posting accounts transactions.
• Data entering for payment of invoices.
• Filling invoices, supporting documents for payment approval and tax invoices/ receipts.
• Assisting to stock verification’s monthly and annually.

Remuneration package to each position would be well above the industry norms and negotiable.
