Post of Support Shift Officer
Job description:
• You will be focal point for support, delivery engineers and developers on system environments, support handling and problem resolutions.
• Excellent follow-up, Coordination and Communication skills.
• You will be placed on shift roster covering morning, afternoon night or weekend shifts (mix of).
• Troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Ability and flexibility of working on-call.
• Good English – Oral and written.
Desired Skills and Experience:
• HND, Advanced Diploma or Equivalent qualifications.
• Knowledge and Experience in Operating systems. Linux is mandatory
• You also should have reasonable knowledge and experience in Application Servers, Web Servers, Security issues, 3rd Party SW, etc).
• Knowledge and Experience in Networking and relevant elements.
• Knowledge in IP (TCP, UDP, HTTP, SNMP, SMTP etc)
• Previous experience with Databases.
