We are an apparel manufacturing group for many international renowned brands. We have vacancies in our Sri Lanka factory for the below positions.
Sewing Technician
Duties and Responsibilities.
1. Work with IE to determine sewing line setup, sewing operations and sequencing for bulk production and develop sewing aids and template to ensure effective execution.
2. Provide technical guidance and train seamstresses by demonstrating sewing methods and machine operation to achieve the quality standards as per required by buyers.
3. Manage and control the quality standard of garment produced to ensure that they fulfill the quality standard required by the Company and its buyers for on-time delivery.
4. Promote productivity and efficiency of seamstress.
Qualification & Requirements:
1. Excellent skill and knowledge in knits garment construction and techniques and use of different types of industrial sewing machines to perform different sewing operations to achieve effect as required the buyers.
2. Able to demonstrate and teach seamstresses the sewing methods required.
3. At least 5 years’ similar experience producing all kinds of knit garments, preferably for US renowned brands.
4. Able to work independently and under pressure.
5. Willingness to pick up local language.
