Senior Accountant (Sri Lanka)

Education, Experience and Skills:
– Member or Passed finalist of (CASL.
– CIMA/ACCA full/part qualification.
– BSc. degree in Accounting or Finance and/or Management will be an added advantage.
– Minimum 6 years of accounting and financial management experience in similar capacity of a manufacturing organization.
– Experience in the similar field will be an added advantage.
– Excellent communication skills in English is required.
– Thorough IT proficiency.
– Experience in ERP accounting packages and Microsoft Excel is a MUST.
– Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with ail levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results.
Principal Accountabilities:
– collating, preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial
statements
– Undertaking strategic analysis and assisting with strategic planning
– Undertaking research into pricing, competitors and factors affecting performance
– Controlling income, cash flow and expenditure
– Managing budgets
– Developing and managing financial systems/models
– Carrying out business modelling and risk assessments
– Supervising staff
– Liaising with managerial staff and other colleagues.
