Senior Accountant / Human Resources Executives (Colombo 14)

We invite applications from qualified individuals for the post of Senior Accountant (1 vacancy) and Human Resources Executive (1 vacancy).

Senior Accountant

Requirements:

– The ideal candidate should have a good command in English and excellent communication skills in local languages.
– Possess a full qualification from a reputed professional accounting body, preferably from ICASL.
– Preferred age above 28 years with a minimum of 5 years experience in the Accounts department.
– Experience in SAP/SAGE ACCPAC would be of an added advantage.

Responsibility:

– Establish, maintain and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
– Preparation, evaluation and maintenance of budgets and budgetary controls and monthly and year end accounts.
– Prepare a variety of detailed accounting, statistical and narrative financial reports requiring analysis and interpretation by the management.
– Ascertainment of VAT, NBT, ESC & Income Tax and maintain upto date knowledge on changes in tax law.
– Ability to deal with external bodies such as Auditors, Banks, Financial Institutions, Inland Revenue and other relevant statutory authorities.

Human Resources Executives

Requirements:

– The ideal candidate should have a good command in English and other local languages and adequate computer literacy.
– Possess a PQHRM from IPM or HRM Diploma from a recognized University/Institution or an equivalent qualification.
Preferred age below 28 years with minimum 3 years experience in the HR Department.

Responsibility:

– Recognizing and acting on the manpower requirements of the organization.
– Managing a performance based incentive system and other HR processes.
– Maintaining other HR Administration and related statutory requirements including co-ordinating with local authorities.
– Setting and extending a strategic direction for the HR Division that reflects the overall strategy and goal of the company.
