Edna Group of Companies one of Sri Lanka’s largest diverse conglomerate specialized in key areas such as Chocolate Confectionery, Cocoa Products, Engineering, Pharmaceuticals, Nutritionals, Polymer, Printing Paper Products, Packaging and Exports.
In line with the group’s expansion plans it invites a suitably qualified dynamic individual possessing leadership and vision to fill the vacancy of Production Manager in its subsidiary Ceylon Paper Sacks Ltd, leading paper sacks manufacturer of kraft paper bags for cement, desiccated coconut, tea etc…, and plastic packaging materials in
Sri Lank.
We are looking for dynamic and result oriented individuals to fill the following vacancy.
Key Accountabilities:
You will be required to provide leadership in running the production and plant administration activities effectively, while being responsible for overall production process of the plant. In this challenging position you will be expected to promote optimum performance, maintain production standards & norms set by Management and direct and coordinate the operations so as to achieve the set objectives of the Strategic Business Unit.
Essential Skills / Experience:
– You must be a matured individual with Finance /Accounts knowledge and experience in a similar capacity, ideally in a paper manufacturing/processing operation. You should be confident, committed to achieve goals and be able to motivate and lead a disciplinary team in a fast paced environment.
– Possessing a Technical background with knowledge of ISO quality standards and being computer literate would be an added advantage.
