HR & Administration Executive
The Job:
• Responsible to identify and justify recruitment needs, posting advertisements in the relevant media, short listing CVs, conducting interviews and selection of the right candidate.
• Liaison with the Sri Lankan Labour Department and ensuring the Company Legal Policies are aligned with Employment Laws of the Country (Statutory Compliances).
• Prepare & process timely distribution of Staff Salaries / Wages for Minor Staff.
• Record, maintain and monitor Staff Attendance and Leave to ensure employee punctuality.
• Conduct Employee Induction & Orientation and facilitate new comers joining formalities as per the culture of GMM.
• Maintain and regularly update Master Database of each employee (Employee Personal Information & Confidential files)
• Monitor and evaluate employee turnover/ termination and resignation records of each employee.
• Resolve grievances/queries of employees; escalate to the right level depending on the nature of the grievance or issue.
• Prepare Appointment Letters, Confirmation and all relevant HR documents/ certificates as per the requirement of the employees in consultation with the Management.
• Implement and administer Performance Management Process as per the GMM policies and timelines.
• Conduct exit interviews for employees and record them accordingly, ensuring their final settlements are completed in full.
• Review job descriptions for all positions at regular intervals and update them in consultation with the respective Managers.
• Engage with employees on a regular basis to understand the motivation levels of people in the organization and maintain good Employee Relations.
• Administration of the entire GMM Fleet, and maintaining relevant documentations coordinating with the Fleet Maintenance Manager.
• Administration of the Company Insurance Scheme inclusive of Medical, Life and Vehicles in collaboration with the Insurance Providing Company.
• Security Administration of the Entire Networks belonging to the Company Island wide.
• Organizing & conducting various Staff welfare activities.
The Person
• Bachelors Degree in HRM and /or Full/Part Qualifications in PQHRM (IPM) or Advance Diploma in HRM (NIBM).
• 02 -03 years working experience in the similar capacity.
• Able to communicate with all levels of people. Proficiency in all three languages (English /Sinhala/ Tamil) An IT Literate with proven working knowledge in Microsoft Office.
• Meticulous, detailed, well-organized and able to work independently to meet datelines.
• Well conversant with the Sri Lankan Labour Laws.
