Head of Quality Audit
Key Responsibilities:-
a) Ensuring effective quality assurance systems and processes to maintain the quality of the output at the required standards.
b) Monitoring the Product quality assurance, controlling processes and control indicators. communicating with relevant parties on issues related to product quality to ensure prompt resolution of all quality issues.
c) Communicating with relevant quality/ Production In-charges to resolve quality related issues.
d) Closely monitoring the entire production process to ensure that the production meets specifications and customer requirements, during the introduction of new styles.
e) Performing a routine audit for allocated production areas in order to see whether they are in-line with requirements and that the relevant approval sheets are sighed off
i) Adhering to ISO 9000, buyer’s compliance, 55 practice and any other international standards adopted by the company.
Qualifications:
Degree / Diploma in textile and clothing technology or equivalent professional qualifications with a minimum of 3 years experience.
Key Knowledge Areas:
• Knowledge of quality controlling techniques.
• Knowledge of statistical quality control tools.
• Knowledge of quality circles.
• Knowledge of quality specification charts and mock ups.
• Knowledge, of understanding the root cause of quality defects.
• Knowledge of Raw materials/ pitting & embroidery.
Assistant Manager – Quality Assurance (Pallekele Factory)
Key responsibilities:
• Ensure technical specifications of finished and sample products
• In line and end line quality assurance in Knitted and Sewn products
• Fit-on approval before passing for deliveries
• Technical detail clarification with Product Development, Merchandising and customer.
• Able to monitor changes and adjust accordingly as and when customer requirement
• Ensuring high level of co-ordination between the production units and the Quality department.
Qualification:
A recognized degree in Textile Engineering or CITI Diploma or Clothing Management Diploma.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in the apparel industry specialized it Quality Assurance management.
