Executive – IT

We are on the lookout for a Executive – IT for our client company located in Colombo 04.
Job Responsibilities IT Support & Maintenance –
Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other IT assets
Manage user accounts, access controls, and IT security protocols
Ensure IT systems operate smoothly with minimal downtime
ERP & Software Assistance –
Support ERP system users with troubleshooting, and basic configurations
Coordinate with the IT Manager to ensure proper software integration across departments
Assist in training employees on IT systems and software applications
Network & Cyber security Support –
Monitor and maintain the company’s PABX, network and internet connectivity
Implement basic cyber security measures, including antivirus updates and firewall monitoring
Ensure regular data backups and support disaster recovery processes
IT Asset Management –
Maintain an inventory of IT hardware and software licenses
Coordinate IT equipment procurement, setup, and disposal
Ensure timely updates and patches for all systems
Requirements
Male candidates with age below 30 years
Higher Diploma in IT, Computer Science or related field
Minimum 03 years and above experience in IT support or related roles
Experience in an automotives business would be an additional advantage
Excellent in English is a must with Sinhala is essential (Tamil being an added advantage)
Familiarity with CCTV, PABX and networking
Experience with ERP (SAP B1, IFS, or similar)
Understanding of cyber security fundamentals
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferably candidates reside in Colombo or near area for easy commute
Salary is negotiable and will commensurate with qualifications and experience to the right candidate.
