by providing social protection to the most vulnerable people, such as handicapped and elderly.
The Organization consists of Berendina Microfinance Institute (Gte) Ltd and Berendina Development Services (Gte) Ltd.
Currently Berendina Microfinance operations take place with the 17 branches and have more than 55,000 active borrowers and over Rs. l billion loan portfolio. BMI is a fast growing MFI. We are looking for proactive and self-motivated young individuals who have the ability & commitment to work in a challenging environment to fill the following two (2) positions.
Branch Manager (BM) – Dickoya Branch
Branch Managers (BMS) – Batticalou District
Job Profile:
BM is the overall in charge of the entire branch operation in achieving branch targets, supervision & monitoring, submission of timely management information and administrative functions. The ideal candidate should be
able to work under well structured and disciplined management environment with minimum supervision.
Qualifications and Experience:
– Ideal candidate should be a graduate in Management, Economics, Accountancy, Agriculture or any other related field.
– Should have a minimum two years supervisory level experience
– Experience & adequate knowledge in Microfinance will be an added advantage for both positions
– Experience in plantation sector will be an added advantage for Branch Manager – Dickoya
– Female candidates are encouraged to apply for Branch Managers Batticaloa District
– Should be able to work in Tamil & English languages (Working knowledge in Sinhala is an added advantage)
– Age below 35 years.
Salary: Negotiable and market based attractive remuneration package will be offered depending on qualifications and experience.
