PalVision Corporation, a Singapore-based company, with over 30 years experience in delivering technology solutions internationally, is seeking aggressive personnel to join our dynamic team as:
Android Developer
Duties / Responsibilities:
• Design, develop and implement Android applications
• Maintain and update existing Android applications
• Translate business requirements into functional applications based on client requirements
• Provide documentation of all new developments and updates, and ensure all such records are kept up-to-date
Mandatory Experience/Knowledge Required:
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• High proficiency with at least 3 years professional experience in the following core requirements:
* Android SDK / NDK
* Android OS software stack architecture
* Java (Android)
* C++, C (GCC Toolchain)
* GNU Make, JDK 6 or higher, Git 1.7 or higher
* Development/ cross compilation using a GNU/Linux Distro (ex. Ubuntu) as host
* cpufeatures library
* Embedded systems / ARM / x86 microprocessor architecture
* Creation of device drivers based on the chip datasheets
* Linux Kernel Architecture / Linux Kernel Cross Compilation
• Ability to elaborate the difference between the Operating System architecture: Monolithic Kernel, Micro Kernel, Hybrid Kernel
• Knowledge of networking protocols
• Understanding datasheets of an SoC (System on Chip)
• Basic knowledge on Assemble Language
Additional Experience in any of the following is preferred:
• Linux shell scripting / embedded environment development; and/or
• Web Development / Hybrid App development; and/or
• Objective C / SWIFT development
