CoCo Green Group is a renowned manufacturer & exporter of coir based products & food products for 23 years and located in Kurunegala. We export our coir based products to all over the world and supply our food products to the leading super market chains & star hotels in the country. We are looking for dynamic & self-motivated person with following requirements for the post of Accountant
Job Profile:
The selected candidate will be the Head of Accounts & Administration Division and this is a key position in the hierarchy of the company.
Main accountabilities would include:
• Manage the process of financial management and working capital management
• Monitor on time payments, billing & collection
• Implement & carry out internal control systems
• Implement & carry out costing techniques
• Coordinate with banks, auditor, secretary, IRD, company registrar etc
• Assure a good administration system in the company
• Coordinate with all the other functional staff
• Present reports required by the management
Profile of the candidate:
• A degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting / Finance / Management from a recognized university / institute or partly qualified in ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CMA, CPA with good experience
• A minimum of 5 years experience & exposure in a manufacturing company and minimum 3 years experience in a similar position.
• Written & verbal communication skills in English & Sinhala
• Excellence experience in a computerized environment. Experience on Tally ERP 9 is preferred
• Applicant should have a good knowledge & experience on local taxes
• Age should be between 30 – 45 years
• Candidates who are residing within 50 Km from Kurunegala are given priority
This position is reporting to the General Manager and a competitive remuneration package is on offer based on the qualifications & experience.
